UPDATED Lost in Translation: The Thing

John Carpenter's claustrophobic remake of The Thing From Outer Space manages to surpass the original in many ways. Of course, according to Japan, it's weird as hell. See for yourself...

Wow, there's thinking outside of the box- and then there's this! I mean, the world is an egg that has space tentacles coming out of it? Okay then.

Now let's see how the Original looked befor all my meddling...

Next up, Japan's attempt to screw up our horror films continues with their poster to Rob Zombie's first film. Stay tuned...
