Great Moments in Race Relations: Day of the Dead(2008)

This one is not a major one, but it is mentioned because- like the teaser said- it is so inexplicable and random.  It also comes to us from a movie that, by all rights, should not exist.

In the remake of Day of the Dead (not the fake sequel/prequel from 2005), our heroes are trapped in a room that is surrounded by zombies.  One of them creates a make-shift weapon out of a broom stick and a blade.  He hands it to one of the soldiers, who just happens to be played by Drumline's Nick Cannon.  When he does so, the soldier gives him crap about it accusing the man of being racist for handing the black man a spear!
