Forgotten Toons: Histeria!

Everyone knows Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain, but where is the love for this show?  It was also made by Tom Ruegger, so what's the deal?!?  Mind you, he also made Freakazoid, which is also vastly under-appreciated too.

Apparently, the big problem with Warner Bros was the cost, as the show went over budget and only got 52 episodes made.  In spite of this, the show has a big following online, as the series has yet to get a DVD release!  Seriously, guys?!?  Here are some highlights...

* A song about Teddy Roosevelt's trust-busting ways set to a familiar tune.
* A comedy bit about why Rosa Parks really refused to sit at the back of the bus.
* A segment about the Wright Brothers.
* A historically-inaccurate, but funny song about William Howard Taft set to 'Shaft.'

In their most controversial moment, they made a cartoon about the Spanish Inquisition.  Not surprisingly, the Catholic League was against it.  Their replacement to air in America: a cartoon about Custer!  Fortunately, the other cartoon aired in Canada, so you can see it!

Up next, the most forgotten show I can ever cover in this segment.  Why is that?  Because it never actually aired!  Stay tuned...
