I ain't afraid of no Trolls! Considering the subjects that Films have covered recently, it is amazing to think that THIS is the most divisive. Let me see why...
In a Cold Open, this old House shows signs of a Ghost! Who can help them?
Enter our Heroes- a pair of quirky Scientists, another one hiding from her past and a knowledgeable New Yorker.
Enter this guy- a weirdo who wants to unleash Ghosts upon the City for his own, crazy reasons.
The Ghosts sure aren't friendly in this Town. I guess what they about New Yorkers still applies.
They've got the gear and they've got the guts, but do they have what it takes?
Considering what cataclysm comes next, we'll have to wait and see. To find out, watch the Film already!
THIS is what people got so worked up over?!? Ghostbusters is a good, fun Film- no matter the gender. Let's get this out of the way- the Film has no 'hidden agenda.' They just wanted to make a new Ghostbusters Film crossed with Bridesmaids. No agenda- just fun. Alright? Moving on, the Film has a fun feel, looks nice and generally moves pretty well. They set things up pretty nicely and everything builds the way it should. Paul Feig knows how to Direct a Comedy at this point. As far as the Effects go, they definitely look better in the final product than in the Trailers. You can definitely see the money on-screen, so you know why it cost what it did. The Film manages to get all of the Cameos you'd hope for too, spacing them out nicely. Credit to the Film for making the mandatory stuff actually feel natural in the Story too. All in all, Ghostbusters is a good Film. It isn't the greatest Comedy ever, nor is it an affront to Men everywhere. Just relax and enjoy Movies sometimes! Where else do you get Bill Murray dressed like Truman Capote?
Considering the level of malice thrown at it, the Film is...pretty good. It isn't mind-blowing, but it is a fun, Sci-Fi Comedy.
