As long as they keep making this kind of stuff and not more Sharknado Films, maybe I'll like Syfy.
After his confession about past deeds, our Hero is taken to an abandoned Building for some more 'personal' questioning.
We learn that his brother Eddie was seemingly-controlled by Candle Cove and a bit creepy...
In the Present, some kids are starting to act weird. Is Candle Cove at it again?!?
Is the curse too strong? Can anyone escape its grasp?
To find out, watch the Show...or keep watching, in this case.
Strange, creepy stuff. The overall Narrative hasn't changed much here, but it has certainly gotten weirder. What is Candle Cove? Why does it hold such power? Why is that person conspiring with it? Is he really crazy? Is everyone crazy? What is the master plan here? All of these questions are pretty intriguing and that goes to the credit of those involved. The Acting here is really good. The Show is shot and lit in a way for maximum tension. The whole thing has a nice, naturalistic feel to it. This subsequently aids the crazy and unexpected moments. When you make everything seem real, how crazy does a creature made out of human teeth look?!? What could be simple and one-note feels a bit more rich to me? I may have to just keep going here, if for no other reason than to see for myself how it ends. As for Candle Cove, they've gone Digital...
Halfway through this thing and it still manages to keep me hooked. Let's see what happens next!
