Quick Review: 12 Rounds 3- Lockdown

Can there be a good WWE Films Production?  Can a guy I actually like alot make a so-so Story entertaining?  Let's see...
In this Film, Ambrose is a Cop returning from a traumatic event on the best/worst day possible.
A corrupt Cop (his former Partner) has evidence of his crimes in the Station, which our Hero discovers.  The police is now on lockdown and he has 12 rounds to use.
He's trapped in a building and surrounded by Terrorists...I mean, Cops.  Why does this feel so familiar?
While they don't take his shoes, they sure beat the crap out of our Hero.  Will he have enough rounds to survive?
More importantly, can an interesting and charismatic Lead elevate this Die Hard in a Police Station tale?  To find out, watch the Film.
Decent stuff, but nothing more.  12 Rounds 3: Lockdown is a pretty by-the-book tale that doesn't do much to impress.  Evil Cops?  Check.  Plucky Hero trapped in a confined space with his enemies?  Check.  Lots of random killing and mayhem?  Big check.  The Story is pretty uninspired, so it is up to Ambrose to keep you interested.  While he's not quite John McClane in Die Hard, he's certainly better than John McClane in A Good Day to Die Hard.  I'll take what I can get!  In all seriousness, he's really good here, showing off his attitude and swagger quite well.  It is kind of like how The Condemned and Maximum Conviction only worked well when 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin was making good banter.  When he's on here, he's really on.  Here's hoping we can get him a better movie.  Please don't be The Marine 5.  Right, Dean?
As far as this kind of stuff goes, it is pretty good.  Ambrose is the best part here, but he can only do so much.

  1. Does he only use the 12 rounds for the whole movie, or does he pick up another gun to use or find more ammo at some point?
