VHS For The Win: Dracula vs. Frankenstein

Dracula vs. Frankenstein is not a good movie.  I mean, the whole thing is dull, listless and barely features the match-up that you would be expecting.

However, if you got it on VHS, you wouldn't think that!

First up...
Wow- that looks great.  Can you top that, other box?
Yes, yes you can!  Good on you, boy!

The movie still sucks.  Al Adamson has been dead since 1995, so I feel comfortable saying that his entire catalog sucks as well.

And yes, I know now that this is for 2 different Films.

Next up, a film starring the most unlikely of action stars- Timothy Leary.  Stay tuned...

  2. This one is a big pass for me, but I am interested in seeing the Paul Naschy Dracula Vs Frankenstein, which is supposed to be equally bad

  3. The only interesting things about Dracula vs. Frankenstein...

    * It was the last film of J. Carrol Naish and Lon Chaney Jr.
    * Chaney plays a mute henchman due to the fact that he's dying of throat cancer during filming.
    * Apparently, Dracula's magic ring was lost after filming. This is deemed so interesting that it gets a Special Feature on the DVD about it.

Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow.
