Great Moments in Race Relations: 21

This crime/student film was pretty successful when it came out, but it was not without controversy.  Why?

Well, the movie is *sort of* based on a true story of some MIT students who learned to count cards and win at blackjack.  Unfortunately, the casting is what kills the whole thing.  In the real story, a man named Jeff Ma founded/led the group.  In the movie...
...not so much.  In fact, many of the other people in the movie- including the teacher- are really Asian Americans.  To make matters more confusing and silly, Kevin Spacey's character is actually a composite character.  So he's not a real person or the right ethnicity!
