While Marvel is breaking Box Office Records, DC...has this Show. Let's dig in...
In the aftermath of 'Karen' taking charge last Episode, she's dragged down to Jane's Home for all of her Personalities...
The gang is all here, including the dominant Jane personality, who doesn't want to go back up.
This also means that they had to cast other Actresses for Jane's Personas. That's...confusing, no?
Back in the real world, with Jane not coming up, the boy is comatose. Only a miracle will allow them to save Jane- that or a vaguely-defined alien energy being.
Now that Robotman's mind is inside of Jane, can he save her or is the darkness too much?
To find out, stream the Show. You know you want to see Lex Luger on Superboy...
A fun and interesting distraction. I'm kind of getting tired of finding new ways to describe this kind of Episode. Yet again, we get them not doing anything to find the Chief directly. This is a better rationale for not doing it than other times, at least. We also get a tease that implies we'll get a parallel Episode next time. I hope I'm wrong. The actual Episode is a neat idea and it feels like it has been built up nicely. We've seen glimpses of the more dominant personalities- like Hammerhead- and it's neat to see their embodiments here. I do still think it is weird that other Actresses are playing the personalities of the same lady, but I can see the technical reason why the choice was made. We get to see a nice mix of them here too, which is interesting. Seeing more of Fraser is good too. He continues to play a nice balance of serious, but in over his head trying to help. He's clearly a good person- he's just not familiar with doing this kind of thing. If Doom Patrol can balance what works right- the Characters and crazy Plots-, with what needs work- the Show's overall Pacing-, it can be a real winner. For now, I'll keep watching to see how this plays out. Based on this Screen Cap, I'm guessing 'James Wan Film'...
Next time, will they get back on track? There is still a main Plot, right? See you then...
