After being surprised watching the first half of this Canadian Cartoon Series blind, will the second half live up to my expectation? Can they close out Season 1 (of hopefully more than 1) well? Let's see...
To make this a bit different, here's a sample of what Episode holds...
Episode 9: Gary tries to find love in an unexpected place.
Episode 10: Gary fights a Demon on Vacation...and that's before things go bad.
Episode 11: Gary tries to find a Demon hiding in the Metal Scene.
Episode 12: Gary must live with his Brother, but do things get better?
Episode 13: Gary must protect a friendly tentacle monster. Yes, you read that right!
Episode 14: Gary must try to work with the new Generation of Demon Killers.
Episode 15: Gary makes one last desperate attempt to get out of his job.
Episode 16: Even though things seemed to work out, how can Gary ruin his Retirement?
To find out, watch the Show!
A fun and unique Show. Gary and His Demons was given to me with no build-up. Having now watched all of Season 1, I'm happy I was given it. The Show is fun. The Show is fresh. The Show is creative. Going into it, I was expecting it to be derivative in many ways. A curmudgeonly-Demon Killer- why not just watch Ash vs. Evil Dead? To the Show's credit, it does its own thing and delivers. You get crazy creatures, funny jokes, interesting set-ups and solid Episodes. The Animation is a bit simple at times, having that Flash Animation feel to it. If you can get past that, it is a fun, acerbic Show that delivered for me at all times. Plus, it gave me a new idea for a Puzzle Game to sell on IOS...
The Show continued to make me laugh and entertain. Here's hoping that they get to make more of this!
