I just got back from this great show (but terrible movie).
Let me break it down for you...
The Good
* The Short- Spring Fever- is ridiculous fun. Classic Rifftrax fodder.
* Non-movie banter between Mike, Kevin and Bill is funny. They get along well, having worked together for so long.
* Sharknado is a terrible film and rife for Rifftrax. Bad Effects, overuse of Stock Footage and...Tara Reid Acting.
* Seeing this crap with a crowd of people reacting is always better than seeing it alone.
The Bad
* It is still Sharknado. It is amusingly-bad on its own, but still terrible.
* Tara Reid Acting. Just...no.
If you love terrible films and wish to enjoy people mocking them as part of a big crowd, this is for you. Sharknado is good, terrible fun and the folks at Rifftrax make the most of it.
They are doing a Replay on July 15th. If you missed this show, see it!
Just don't bring your Chainsaw- Theaters discourage them.
