Great Lines of Cinema: Starcrash

Movie science is, at times, an idiosyncrasy. The science of films is often b.s. that works for a plot and nothing else. That or it is real science twisted around like some sort of contortionist. Either way, it can be very funny. Case in point:
Starcrash
The film, as a whole, is just ridiculous. Stella Star and her friend are space robbers who get caught and the only way out of prison is to save the Emperor's son. Teaming up with 'Mr. Clean' (another film with him, yes) and a robot with a Texan accent, they traverse unknown planets and elude the grasp of Count Zartan.

Near the climax, they are trapped on a planet by the villain and their 'deus ex machina' power friend is dead...for some reason. Fortunately, a new deus ex machina comes in the form of the Emperor and his battle cruiser. The line in question starts at 3:00 minutes in. You'll know it when you hear it.

The fact that it comes from respected actor Christopher Plummer and is delivered to David Hasselhoff is just icing on the cake.

Stay tuned...
