I figured that it made more sense to do these early, rather than as a bunch. I might as well strike while the lightsaber is hot.
After making an enemy of the remains of the Empire, our Hero meets up with a man to get some information about other Madalorians.
He needs them to help him find the home of The Child.
He is told to go back to Tatooine, which brings out the return of Amy Sedaris. Yay!
There's a Mandalorian in an unmarked Town that brought peace back to the Land.
Why is it less simple than it seems?
The Town has a big problem- which I won't SPOIL- and only he can help them.To win the day, the Town and The Mandalorian must team up with old rivals- The Sandpeople.
Can they succeed?
To find out, watch the Show.
Damn. The last Season was really strong. We got big-name Actors, big Budgets and strong Writing. Thankfully, we get all of that here. Jon Favreau really does Star Wars well- why not give him an actual Film? I'm sure they offered him one, right? Anyhow, he gets it. He gives you the Characters, the Worlds and the Atmosphere. It all looks and feels real. Tatooine is obviously an iconic Planet for the Series. They do it justice here- no question. The Episode gives you a real, palpable threat that ties it all together. I won't say what it is here, but man does it deliver! They also set up some Easter Eggs and possible Plot Points as well. What's neat is that some of them are obvious enough, while others are deeper cuts that even I had to Google. Playing to both Audiences is what a Show like this does well. If you know Star Wars just from the recent Films, it works. If you know the Films, the Books and the Games, it works too. To give you an idea of how good this one is, it almost makes me forgive Timothy Olyphant for the Hitman Film (almost)…

A great Episode that keeps the quality going. Here's to keeping things going next week.
