At last, it's time for the other half of this Season 3 Episode.
In this tale, it's about Spiders, so...yuck.
A man in Prison for a Black Widow-style murder (what's the Male equivalent?) is allowed to keep his pet spiders. He teams that after Gods and Goddesses like just the worst kind of person.
As a Chemist, he's under pressure to make Drugs by a corrupt Guard.

I don't want to 'backseat criminal,' but I would think that breaking the guy's finger would HINDER things, as opposed to HELPING them.
Am I wrong?
One of them gets attacked by a spider (they're known to leap at your eyes, right Entomologists?) and that just makes things worse.

While one is killed and the Prisoner is threatened again, the rest flee to the back with an unseen 5th Spider.
A desperate Prisoner makes a plea to an Egyptian God- as you do.

Does it work like planned?
Who will live and who will die?

To find out, stream the Segment now.
A good Creepshow segment yet again. This one really captures that feel.

There's a certain low-budget charm to it. Other than a Flashback, they never leave the Cell or the adjoining Room. Maybe the Prison Set from The Suicide Squad was still available at the time.
The Story itself is a pretty basic one and there's not a big twist here. That'd be the only real complaint, I suppose. You see the setup, you can predict the ending and you get it. Maybe you don't always need a twist.
That said, I'm not sure what kind of Twist Ending would work here, so maybe just ignore me if you disagree. As for you in the back, you did a pretty good job Frankenstein impression there...but you went a bit overboard.
Next up, someone takes the lure of a Siren's song. That usually ends well, right? See you then...
