Alita: Battle Angel was not a bad Film.
Alita: Battle Angel was not a great Film.
Regardless of how you feel, it did give me another induction, so that's good.
Early in the Film, the Title Character meets and saves a random dog.
An hour later (in the Film), she randomly meets the same dog before she goes to a Bar full of Bounty Hunters.
It follows her in.
After a fight and a speech, a killer Cyborg returns to challenge Alita.
For some reason, the dog 'steps up' and nobody does a thing as it is killed...
Off-screen.
Yes, people can die in Films, but you cut away from that dog killed by CGI.
This death would inspire Alita...for one fight...which she'd lose.
Yeah, this one still counts.
In summary, this giant city has one dog that just happens to run into Alita twice in two separate incidents, at two different times and at two different locations.
The second time, it is to die.
The moral: put your damn dog on a leash. Duh!
