As someone who just knew the Film as 'that cool heist Film with the Ear Scene,' it never occured to me that I should wonder what the Title even meant.
Well, in Italy, the Film has a different Title...

As I've heard in the past, the Frankenstein Story was always big there- obvious German roots in the Story and all- so this re-titling is no surprise.
I also like how they put 'Deadpool' under Reynolds' name, but did nothing for Shelly Duvall or Judge Reinhold.
They know where the money is...and it's not with Troop Beverly Hills fans.

Yeti- The Giant of the 20th Century was a King Kong-wannabe that was released alongside the Dino De Laurentiis Remake.
Naturally, this knock-off came from Italy.
So what happens when a DIFFERENT Foreign Country makes their own Poster for a knock-off of a Remake of a Classic Film?
You get...this.
I didn't bother trying to fix this, since...I mean, what do I do?!?
In the last one of these, I showed a crazy Poster for this Gill-Man Sequel.
His giant hand/foot (it's hard to tell really) is coming down on a City.
So, he's obviously not a giant in the Film, so that's wrong.
…however, what if this was metaphorical? Maybe it's representative of how it impacted the City?
Here's an Italian Poster for it which does the same thing, but no possible subtext is available...
Brighter colors and sharper contrast should make the 'giant' creature stand out more. It gives it- and the Boat- a sort of 3-D effect, which is appropriate.
Since I've still got Gill-Man on my mind, I might as well share my latest improvements.
For the 1955 Film, someone in Germany decided that bigger was better.
As such, we got this Poster for Revenge...
Adding the other colors made it less monochromatic and that hand looks even more menacing when sharpened. Yikes!
Instead of watching the Remake/Sequel/Whatever-it-is, why not do the next best thing?
When all else fails, Japan delivers great Posters.

In Hungary, they got this Poster for the Film which, to note, featured mega-star Farrah Fawcett...
The fact that a Poster this old and obscure (Japanese Posters, for instance, are way more prevalent) is cool enough. The faded quality shouldn't be a surprise.
