You hit on pretty much all the sucky points up there, but I would be remiss in not also mentioning the bit where they use mud to create camo for themselves and then inexplicably just kind of wash it off a few minutes later.<br /><br />And seriously...this guy was the whiniest, most useless ninja I have ever seen on film. And that includes Random Quickly-Dead Ninja #358 from any given martial arts film ever.<br /><br />Oh, and also, at various points in the movie, the guy flashes back to his training days at the ninja training academy run by white guys on the beach. The instructor is always talking in that kind of way that you only really hear in documentaries, which was really strange.<br /><br />And yeah...the girl just kind of forgets about her friend's death really quickly. I remember yelling at the screen several times about that, after she'd get giggly or romantic with the ninja or something. "<em>Your friend just died!</em>" The plot of the film really can't take more than like one or two days tops...so how is she just kind of "over it" that fast?
