New Crap?: Inara The Jungle Girl

It is exactly what you think it is.  Today's Film is Inara the Jungle Girl, a 2012 Action-Adventure Film.  This is another one of the random Films that I got for my Birthday.  I also had not heard of this one, so I didn't know what to expect.  As it turned out, it is pretty silly.  It isn't quite Camp though.  This isn't quite sure what kind of Film it wants to be in terms of execution, to be honest.  The Story involves some Military Contractors going to Warrior Island (Home of Destrucity).  One of them- a woman- turns out to have a connection to the Island and may not go along with the plan.  In other words, this is Men of War (later called Avatar).  Is this more than a basic Story and some light T&A?  To find out, read on...
A dick on Warrior Island has killed an Amazon lady, but then gets killed by someone else.  Context- what is that?!?
With even less context, we see a musical Montage of this young lady mourning the loss of some guy (her dad, apparently) and then going out drinking.
We learn that some Mercs (one of whom is the son of the guy killed in the Intro) don't like her, so she fights them.  Combat Ability confirmed.
Her old friend recruits her for a Mission.  The place: Warrior Island.  How convenient.
She gets separated and captured by a group of Amazons there (played by some lady Wrestlers).
She doesn't get treated all that well until they find out that she is a kindred spirit.
Naturally, you know where this leads...
It is a battle between Soldiers and Amazons.  Who will win?  To find out, watch the Film.  The End.
It is what it is.  It is a Film that has a bunch of ladies in fake-fur Bikinis swinging Swords and Shields.  It is a Film that builds up to ladies in fake-fur Bikinis swinging Swords and Shields at a bunch of Mercenaries.  Here is the thing: it takes a bit too long to get there.  It takes about forty-five minutes to get her on the Island.  For a Film like this, it is way too long.  To get to that point, you must get the Cold Open, the Musical Montage, her Alley Fight, a bunch of Plot Scenes and a bit with her at her Sister's House.  Wow.  I'm not sure if they were going for Exploitation and missed the mark or if they were trying for serious and ended up at Exploitation.  Either way, it has good moments and is put together decently, but isn't quite as good or bad as you would hope it to be.  Hot babes in Bikinis all the same though.  Here's something that you would never expect to appear on a Film like this (but totally does)...
Up next, I go old-school with a Film from the 1950s.  What could go wrong when you start freezing people?  Stay tuned...
